Giovanni Grippo (born 1978) is an author, translator and publisher. His publications explore Kabbalah, Hermeticism, alchemy and Freemasonry, bringing historical sources, religious traditions and symbolic interpretation into conversation.
His work includes German translations, editions and commentaries on historical texts, including John Dee’s Monas Hieroglyphica, Laurence Dermott’s Ahiman Rezon and Carl Happich’s Anleitung zur Meditation.
Historic gardens and their symbolism form another focus. He writes and speaks about Schwetzingen, the New Garden in Potsdam and Wilhelmsbad. Books, contributions to collected volumes, lectures, guided tours and video formats are part of his public work.
